I have a problem. I love to buy books. I almost never leave a bookstore empty handed. Most women buy shoes. I buy books. The book buying isn't the problem. The problem is I am more of an avid book buyer than I am an avid reader.
Luckily, during the Winter of 2009, I happened upon a bit of good madness in the form of The Seasonal Reading Challenge. The Seasonal Reading Challenge is a public group on Goodreads where readers compete to complete tasks (or in my mind earn achievements). This appeals both to my outer gamer and to my inner achievement whore.
This blog consists of much book related goodness: book trailers, links to various authors and sites that I love, as well as some of my "Off The Shelf" Reading Challenge book recommendations. I don't aim to misbehave by blogging off-topic, but I often do.
So, please ensure your seat belt is securely fastened and your seat back and tray table are in their full upright and locked position. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
